PROS:
Can get rid of a few ads that the free adblock and other free alternatives cannot.
CONS:
Still no HTTP 1.1 support, making web browsing actually slower on a number of sites even with the ads removed. Hulu now detecting Ad Muncher and no hope of having it resolved by the Ad Muncher team. New drop down menu toolbar instead of an easy right click context menu. Recent forced beta use rather than a final version to get filters updates. Being now forced into beta for filters updates, a premium paid license instead of basic paid license is required to receive some beta updates. No other paid software provider would even think of doing this. The pricing, especially the premium pricing, is not worth the the pros listed, which amounts to one pro as you can see. Also note: You have to pay for each PC use, whether it's basic or premium.
With the recent beta issue I chose to just uninstall my paid basic version of Ad Muncher. The final reply from the Ad Muncher team... "You still don't get it... Take care and so long". As you can see, really great customer care. Not.

I use Ad Muncher for AD blocking, pop-up blocking as well as site blocking. It is hands down the best ADpopup blocker type of software out there; at least that I have seen. I believe the trial period was 30-days and it costs money (it is NOT freeware) but for the trouble this program saves me daily it was well worth it IMO.
Important Note: One thing I would like to correct is the fact that the AdMuncher program is listed here at snapfiles as "Free Trial 25.00 to buy" Actually, this utility is what I call is "rentware" meaning the prices are different for one, two, and three years of continued updates as well as an "unlimited" updates price for approximately 80 USD in a single payment.
Back to my review: This program stops just about ALL pop-ups on the net without any complicated configuration; which speeds up page loading, thanks to the missing adverts and popups. It also blocks many other annoying site behaviors. The program uses very little recourses, it is very configurable and it ZAPS just about every single type of ad and pop-up out there.
Ad Muncher removes adverts, popups and general browsing annoyances from all popular browsers as well as most banner displaying and popup generating programs like AOL, ICQ, Morpheus, Kazaa, Grokster, Opera, iMesh, Bearshare, LimeWire, etc.
Prior to using Ad Muncher I was using a freeware program called Serenity Ad Blocker 0.96 which was pretty good as an alternative for those who can't afford shareware.

Blocks ads in all browsers, including Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome, Safari, Flock, Netscape, Maxthon and Avant Browser including the latest verions (IE9, FF4, Google Chrome 10,...) Also, removes advertising in programs like Yahoo Messenger.
Kills unwanted popups, Blocks rich media advertising like flash ads, video ads...
Last but not least, it is in active development for a very long time (You may see that there are many other ads blockers but their latest versions were released at least one year ago; that's why they are not working with your browsers).
