RDF-Ticker is a news ticker application which fetches news from any RDF/RSS-feed and displays them on a ticker-bar. These public feeds are based on a special XML-format, which lets client applications show them in any convenient way for the end-user. RDF-Ticker comes with various, categorized feeds to choose from, and you can add your own as well. The program runs as a small ticker bar on top of your desktop (can be hidden too) and clicking on a news item will open the site in your browser.
