The program automatically checks the spelling of your message directly in the conversation window of Instant Messenger. Incorrect words are marked with wavy red underlines and right-clicking brings up suggestions for corrections. Any Jabber compatible client can connect to TIMP (Linux, Java, Mac-OS, Palm, Pocket-PC, Web based client, etc). TIMP supports Jabber Open Protocol, XML, SOAP, XML-RPC and RSS. It also offers open APIs and a pluggable architecture that allows developers to write plugins that can extend the functionality. TIMP supports Jabber/NT authentication, so you can use the same user name you normally use. The program runs as an NT service. Currently, Timp does not support any file transfers.
