ShellFTP is a FTP uploader designed specifically for webmasters. It integrates into the Windows Explorer and allows you to upload selected files to an FTP server via the right-click menu. ShellFTP includes the unique ability to automatically upload the files to specific remote paths (folders) based on the file extension (e.g. upload all .jpg files to the /img folder). The program can also generate HTML and BB tags in various styles, that link to the uploaded files, so you can simply copy and paste them into your HTML code, blog or message board post. ShellFTP supports standard FTP, as well as SSL/TLS.
Pros: Convenient to use; automatically generates file links
Cons: Cannot rename files or extensions; does not generate image thumbnails
