Photo File Organizer
organize your photos by date
Photo File Organizer can help you organize your digital photo collection by renaming and sorting the images based on their EXIF date. Instead of having your images cluttered in different locations or folders with meaningless names, you can have them neatly organized in a folder structure with folders for each year and sub-folders for each month that you have pictures from. The program searches for photos in the folder(s) of your choice and then renames and copies (or moves) them to the new folder structure. Each file name contains the date and time as well as the name of the camera model. You can preview the new file names by using the test mode. Other features include an option to exclude files based on their date and camera model, as well as a detailed log.
Pros: Easy to use for basic photo organizing needs
Cons: Naming scheme cannot be customized; does not support any other EXIF data for file or folder names; unpolished interface
