Giant Disk Cleaner enables you to find junk and obsolete files, duplicate files and broken shortcuts on your computer. The program scans selected hard drives and finds files based on a pre-configured set of file extensions, which can be modified by the user as needed. It can also consider the date and size of the files, an look for specific text contained within the files. The duplicate file finder can locate files that are identical based on various criteria, including name, size, CRC checksum and other properties. Giant Disk Cleaner also includes secure file deletion using DoD, Gutmann and NSA guidelines.
