East-Tec Backup 2008 is a personal backup tool that enables you to create tasks to automatically make backups of all your important files and program settings. In addition to file and folder selection, it can also backup your browser settings and Favorites (IE, Firefox, Opera), Email accounts and settings (Outlook and Outlook Express) as well as selected registry keys and a variety of Windows User Settings. The backups can be placed in local or network folders, on removable drives, uploaded to an FTP server or burned directly to CD or DVD with the integrated burning engine. The program is easy to use and offers a step-by-step wizard to guide you through the configuration. Other features include optional compression and 256-bit encryption, built-in scheduling, Incremental and Differential backups, email notifications and more.
