Docx2Rtf enables you to open MS Office .docx files and convert them to RTF or PDF format. In addition to that, the program can also open and convert OpenOffice formats (.odt, .sxw), WordPerfect files and Palm database files (.pdb,.prc). The conversion from docx format is not perfect, it will properly convert most text content but may omit some embedded images or display them with odd colors. If image display is not a big concern to you, the program will do a fine job. Docx2Rtf can also be used as a simple PDF reader (no need to have Adobe installed). Other features include print support, thumbnail display and command-line options. Standalone software, no installation required.
