AutoTextMe takes long words, sentences, and phrases that you commonly use in documents or computer programs and allows you to create short codes or abbreviations for them. When one of the codes or abbreviations is typed, AutoTextMe finds the matching long word or phrase and enters it in the document for you. While AutoTextMe's great auto text functionality always stays the same users are given the ability to store auto texts in two locations. A private list and/or a shared list. This is a great solution for users who might want to share some auto texts but also want a set of private auto texts for themselves. Private lists are always stored in an AutoTextMe list. An AutoTextMe list is simply a file that keeps track of all your auto texts. This file is stored on your computer or local network in a location of your choice. Shared lists can be stored in an AutoTextMe list or on a Sharepoint list. Storing your auto texts using Sharepoint is an excellent solution for offices that wish to share auto texts throughout the company via local intranet.
