ZeroAds enables you to block Internet ads, adware ads, pop-ups, and bad cookies from reaching your computer. The program runs as a dashboard along the top of your screen (can be minimized to the tray) that displays statistics on blocked items and provides access to configuration options. It also displays activity and connection statistics for your Internet connection. The ad blocking worked well during our review, but popup blocking performed extremely poor when we tested it at popuptest.com. The cookie blocking feature blocked some cookies, but not all and cannot be customized. Overall, a very slick interface with good ad blocking features, but it performed well below expectations in most other aspects. ZeroAds supports Netscape, IE and Opera browsers.
