If you are a webmaster that maintains web sites for multiple customers, you are probably familiar with the problem that your clients often need minor changes done to the site, but are not familiar with editing and uploading the pages. Web Update Builder enables you to provide your client with a small program that automatically connects to the site and allows them to edit pages from a simple interface, that displays information that can be edited by them in easy to use form boxes. The client does not have to use an FTP client, or even use a login or password, editing the site content is as easy as filling a web form. All the information can be compiled into the executable, complete with a built-in FTP uploader. In order to enable simple editing, all you need to do is modify the existing pages and mark the areas that can be edited with special <wub> tags. The client application will automatically retrieve and update these tags. No need for HTML editing or messing with an FTP program. Your customers can now make minor changes and site updates, without even having to contact you. Great tool for busy webmasters as an enhancement to their service offerings. A little pricey though.
