Product marketing description as supplied by the developer:
What would you want when trying to launch a file? Small application that can open any file/folder/web page that stands on top of all other windows that can be hidden with one click. You would want that application to make a shortcut to files/folders in one easy step - no wizards for creating a shortcut, please. If it could be able to do that not just in one way (what about six?), that would be an asset. Maybe you'd like to make shortcuts that are easy to remember - how about 'zip' for WinZip or 'fox' or 'int' for Firefox? That wouldn't be bad. Maybe, if you don't have time to find a file that you want to make a shortcut to, to be able to drag&drop it on that application (from Desktop, Start menu>Programs, or some file manager) and to let it do the job for you? Or, if the application is already running, to make a shortcut for it without finding it in on your hard disc? Mayk can do these things for you. It can make a shortcut for files and folders in six different ways, and to launch them in three different ways. It can show you your computer's CPU load and RAM usage. It can inspect any window's size, handle, class and application that owns it. It can search for files on your discs extremely fast; it can also open anything Windows can from Run dialog without making any shorcuts. Mayk can search your discs for any application that has a file association attached to it and make shortcuts in one step for them all. To launch a file, all that you have to do is to type two or three letters in its command box - its autocomplete feature will help you choose the right shortcut; press Enter and the file is opened before you know it. Do you work on a project that demands more than one file? Mayk can help you with that problem too: its group shortcut can handle all the files you need in one shorcut name. Feed it with necessery files and make ONE shortcut for all of them. Then type that single name and watch all of those files open one by one. Try Mayk. You wont change it
