DynIP provides dynamic DNS technology, that enables you to assign a static name to a dynamic IP address. It supports various connection types including dial-up, cable modem, wireless, DSL and LAN and can be used with most common routers and firewalls. The Internet Name can be used like a static IP address to access the machine for Virtual Private Networks (VPN), security cameras and remote access applications. DynIP can run as an NT service and provides several additional features like time synchronization, auto-dial and keep-alive.
