CheckP3 is an email checker with support for POP3, IMAP4, and Hotmail servers as well as firewall (SOCKS 4/4a/5) configuration options and secure password authentication. Each server can be configured individually, with its own timer and firewall settings. Using the interactive mode, the program allows you to preview the headers or a selected number of (raw) lines and also delete or save selected messages. CheckP3 and can notify you of new mail, using sound, a pop-up window or a flashing icon. In addition, you can setup spam filters or use the built in SMTP sender to send emails without having to start your full email program. Also includes support for MS Agent, a ping checker, news checker, atomic clock synchronization and more.
