Awasu is a feature-rich RSS newsfeed reader, that offers various notification options and can also take action like sending emails or SMS messages when certain channels are updated. It provides a multi-tabbed interface that lets you organize your feeds and switch between them quickly. The integrated browser interface allows you to view web sites from within the program. Awasu can be customized in several ways, you can change interface colors, set default notification options, create your own categories, add items to a read-me list and more. You can also view the headlines for selected channels directly from the tray icon menu, allowing you quick access to your favorite feeds without having to load the interface. The program supports plug-ins to further extend the functionality. Awasu is definitely one of the more advanced clients out there.
