AdShield
Banner ad and popup blocker
AdShield is a pop-up and banner ad blocker that improves browser performance in several ways. It can optionally suppress the download and display of ad images, pages and pop-ups and also pre-cache pages and images, so that they load instantly when you click on a link. Each of the blocking options, as well as caching can be enabled or disabled with checkboxes. AdShield also offers a Block list and Exclude list, that allows you to automatically enable/disable blocking features for specified sites. Another feature is the detection, disabling and display of potential web bugs (small tracking images or code in web ages). AdShield integrates into Internet Explorer and is available from the right-click menu, as well as Explorer bar. The program is very flexible and allows you to block as much or as little as you want. Trial version does not expire but has some minor limitations.
