This player sounds great; the best of any I've ever tried. However, there is a serious problem with it. When you load up a playlist and set it to random play, it doesn't remember which songs it has played and which it has not. The effect is that it will play some songs a second time without even playing some the first time. It used to have a problem skipping when playing a song, but that has been fixed. If the developers could work out the simple bugs it has, bugs that all other MP3 players do not have, this would be the premier player available. I believe that the authors of this software release their product before thoroughly testing it. If they did test it before releasing it, these simple flaws should be easy to catch and fix.

It's a very nice audio player for an average listener, but definitely falls short of catering to a serious listener. The skins are interesting, but not all components of the player get skinned. The plus point is that it uses very light resources.

The skins are very cool, lots to choose from. But, the playlist, eq and other windows do not get skinned. They remain win95 looking, ugly and outdated. I have tried so many players trying to get away from winamp, but none have the full package to compete. Jet audio has come the closest, but still has it's problems. As the snapfiles review board said, this is a good player but probably not for audiophiles.

I like this player, easy to skin (though i have not done it), easy on my resources and fast load time. I used winamp for a while and now that I tried Xion I will not go back, great sound and low resource usage. a great player

I've been looking for a MP3 player that has decent sound. I think I've found it in Xion. The audio quality is excellent. A blue ribbon to the developers.

Finally, an audio player that sounds GOOD! Produces a "Tube-Like" sound, low in distortion and, (dare I say it) is involving! Highly recommended.
