Excellent notepad replacement
This is a small, simple, but nicely designed and very fast editor with many useful features such as column select mode and encryption. It's much better than Nopepad and generally in the same class as Notepad++ and Metapad.

A really helpful text editor!
I have been looking for a freeware text editor with 2 specific features: URL clickable option and Column-select mode. This wonderful proggy has tons of features not commonly found in a standard text editor and the beloved Column-select button right on the toolbar! So far, I noticed only another freeware text editor has this button is "Crimson Editor 3.70" . Unfortunately, it does not have the URL clickable option !! With Xint v4.3, I no longer have to suffer looking at crap-laden illustrations in .nfo files where hackers show off their artistic talents! With a click on the "Column select" button, I can breezily edit out all these weird drawings in a few seconds . If you want an efficient text editor that allows you to get to a website by just clicking on a link in a text file, and to edit .nfo files quickly then , Xint v4.3 is really for you !

Notepad on steroids
Excellent alternative to Notepad, tons of features and easy to use. Just about the best freeware program of its type available.
