However,last update was 16 months ago even tho' when you try to update signatures database it goes thru the motions and says they've been downloaded and you're all set. Try it repeatedly in a short period and they pretend to go get them every time.The forum is also zero help--first entry is spam for an unrelated rogue program, showing even they don't read it or the thought might have occurred to delete this entry! No questions get responses, so basically useless. The shield feature is promising but all browser shields are just IE--I'm sure Firefox was out last time they updated this program, but you wouldn't know it. Interface resembles a box of Tide but since no updates since January 2007, not much reason to visit it I'm afraid. Maybe if they would revitalize,update and modernize it they could have a nice little program but right now it is virtually dead in the water.Too bad.

This program is to slow,and can not detect many treats.Its nice that the program is free, but if u need a program to detect treats take another.

At last free real time cover for w98

As an antispyware application, it's neat and seems to do the job, there's real-time coverage and support from the forum. Not as configurable as Spyware Terminator which is my current favourite and the information on what it finds is sketchy, but who reads that in depth anyway. The big plus as far as I'm concerned is that it gives real-time cover to W98, something that Spyware Terminator doesn't as its real-time cover is XP only and Defender doesn't work on W98 at all, so a very nice addition to the arsenal for people with older systems.
