It fails to retrieve the correct version number of installed programs for comparison. Many of those listed need-to-be-updated programs after scanning do not actually need to be updated, since the installed programs have already been the latest. It's a pity that this program bug makes this program meaningless.

They updated the database and beta version and results look good so far. Excellent for a free service. Recommend it.

Cute product but is not giving correct versions already installed. Removed it immediately. Not worth the aggravation even if it is free.

Well, the truth is that there are 4 areas that are lacking. 1. The most annoying is that it, without your permission, will put the programs in the Start menu in the "Startup" menu. 2. It detects wrong versions of programs that are already updated. AVG and Comodo Firewall both were mistakenly identified as being outdated when they were not. 3. The results said it detected 6 updates but only listed 5 of them. Hmm? 4. Finally, the programs doesn't tell from free and paid version upgrades. For example, Ashampoo Photo Commander 4 was detected as being outdated but if you go to try to download the version it is a trial program.

This is actually a fresh idea, rather than yet another burner or photo gallery maker. I have tons of software I purchased online, regularly about 300+ programs, every so often I get the bug to go look for updates and now this thing does it for me, too cool! It even takes you right to the download url on most.

This program works well for me. It found all of my installed programs and displayed the updates available. I can see it being a very useful app indeed. I recommend it.
