Handy to have on your system for quick peaks at odd files. Ability to add Commander and other plugins makes this a one-stop (that is, Universal) file viewer. Provides convenient access to lots of proprietary file formats when you don't have the normal program (such as MS Office). One suggestion: bundle more plugins or make it easier to figure out what to download and install.
