Following is a brief summary of my experience with Tunebite Platinum: On about the 40 or so audio and video files that I tested on Tunebite Platinum, the application crashed nearly as often as it did not. When it crashed it often locked up Vista so badly that you had to reboot the system and start anew. On those occasions where the audio or video file was processed to completion, it was usually discovered to still have the file protection intact and thus could not be played. On those few occasions where the file protection had in fact been removed, the unprotected file was found to be of such poor quality to be unusable. Consistent with the prior reviewer, Tunebite does not support the product, instead suggesting that you purchase the most recent upgrade.

Know that if you purchase this software, it will only be useful for a few months. I purchased a previous version a few months ago and now it is obsolete. Tunebite does NOT offer any type of free upgrades. Any type of music service/file change makes the software useless. Tunebite does not stand behind their product. Contacting customer service is impossible. They simply tell their customers they need to purchase the new version.
