As others have mentioned, use this with caution! Other than that, it's an excellent reg tool and has very easy settings for those who knew the registry prior. If not, then for newbies it may be very confusing and shouldn't mess with it until learning what this does to each item. Some are very obvious of course. Anyway, this is great and for the price, can't be beat.

Unless you are well acquainted with the Windows OS this isn't a set of tools to be used. You will get into lots of trouble with this program if you make changes without thoroughly understanding what you're doing. It's absolutely essential that you know the ultimate consequences of any changes you intend to make with this program. Also, be certain to create a restore point BEFORE going into a tweaking session because RegToy shows you only "hidden adjustments" (those that are not visible by default in Windows). There aren't any basic adjustments in this application. Novices shouldn't expect any hand-holding as the few onscreen notes provide little or no help. Please take care. - If you use this program to make changes to your Windows XP (or Visa) system and then uninstall RegToy, you will probably not be able the revert the changes you made.

Regtoy is a great system tweaking tool. lots of tweaks and security settings.takes some time to go through it all.But it works good so far.

This is an excellent tweaking tool for XP or Vista, the interface could use some work but i am sure it will get better as new versions are released. This freebie does what the pay "Tweak" tools do and more, a lot more.
