On the surface, looks like a great utility. I'm a power pc user, and hoped that it would help my manual work. Unfortunately, it flagged several programs that needed updating, which were in fact latest versions of the software. Suspect its finding old information in registry and using those instead of file properties to save time (leading to inaccuracy). Worst though, as other user notes it completely stuffed up USB on test computer, by downloading and installing errant files. Thank goodness for System Restore! I suspect its a relative of Driver Detective. Take great care when using any of this type of product - please!

If you're a freak like I am, limited edition, you probably want to keep things up to date. Updating a system that works well always has its risks, but still, I'm all for it. RadarSync gives you apt info, and it seems to be quite reliable otherwise too. I didn't really like the fact that downloaded files were renamed, and in order to make the full of the program, you have to "start a whole update system"... I decided to use it half manually, by picking up the info, and searching in the Net by myself. Somewhat laborous, but I still got about a dozen updates I otherwise would have lost - for some time, at least. It obviously works well, given all handles too. I recommend it, but some caution may be smart.

I just got RadarSync 2009 version, recommended by a friend of mine. It's AWESOME. I got a new nvidia card driver update, got my Epson printer upgraded, new ICQ, new ad-aware (didnt know they had 2009 edition), new Limewire,... awesome! Big time saver, not to say the same about the OTHER PC Updaters which are big disappointments and costs money too.

Don't upgrade the usb

If prompted, do not update your USB through this program. Our USB speeds are on par with a dial-up internet account now. This is not a helpful program.
