Speedy and stable...
This app is unbelievably fast and thanks to all the shortcuts, mouse usage is virtually obsolete. My favorite feature is the ability to connect to the services of a remote machine on your LAN. Simplifies admin tasks and you can't beat the price! Thanks! -JG

Nice, just one problem...
The only thing keeping me from using pserv.cpl is the one-dimensional (and seemingly random) column sorting, which drives me nuts. For example, I can't sort the list so as to have all running services at the top, and also have them in alphabetical order. For me, this makes finding individual items a pain. NirSoft ServiWin is much better in this regard, but it lacks some of pserv.cpl's features.

Windows services and devices made easy.
The Windows Services option on the control panel, does some of the same things. But pserv.cpl gives much more information, lets you manage the state of services, AND lets you remove or create them yourself. It also lets you do exactly the same with "devices", which are even harder to find out about and control in Windows. A must-have for more expert users.
