Outlook on the desktop works very well but more options are needed such as hot keys and moving the screen needs a drag feature.

Wonderful program to eliminate the need to run Outlook - it puts the calendar, inbox, contacts, notes or tasks right on the desktop.

I like this program. You can click on the calendar feature add notes and whatever right from your desktop. Before you download if you are using the old (2000) version of Outlook make sure you have the lastest update for Outlook to use it and download Microsoft Frame. You can make the screen on the desktoop any size, change the fonts, and make it transparent. I am using it with XP and I love it. It also put the date in the corner of your status bar near the time on the right.

This is one functionality that I was looking for last 5 years since I have started using reminders and PIM's. Very neat and clean software and excellent work done. Keep it up.

In my opinion this is quite a useless program. When I discovered it I thought that I could run it instead of Outlook itself and save my PC memory as Outlook is quite hungry with resources. But the result was the opposite: each time you switch from Calendar view to Inbox, Tasks or any other part of Outlook on the Desktop a new instance of the service Outlook.exe starts running in the background (you can see it in Windows Task Manager). And all instances of the service Outlook.exe are kept! The program itself takes about 20 MB of memory + each instance of Outlook.exe takes about 15 MB and thus in the end of the day you can find yourself giving this resources hog 200-300 MB of your computer memory! A very bad piece of work!
