This refers to the download labeled npop109win32_EN, and I have Win98SE. One change I'd like is to be able to see ALL accounts' new mail contents in one window (rather than needing to use a dropdown menu to choose the account that is displayed). Aside from that I like the simple program well enough as a notifier, especially the small footprint. One thing I do not 'get' how to do, and I think some more or better help text is needed: set up outgoing message capability, which certainly is in there. It's currently unintelligible to me. And there is some problem with the popup notification not appearing at all under some circumstances I don't quite understand yet.But this seems to happen when I've launched my browser AFTER nPOP was already running first. It may also be occurring when non-browser programs get launched later than nPOP was. The other notification modes (tray icon turns yellow; sound plays) continue as expected.

I'm a regular Thunderbird user but recently I've searched for a small e-mail sender, which is convenient for quick sending of e-mails during Web browsing. Then I found this amazing program: it is very small and stable, support literally all e-mail encodings (UTF, ISO, Windows chars...), it is incredible fast, the most recent version (1.08) have full SSL support (using additional DLLs) and is capable for full Gmail POP/SMTP use without any tweaks. There are several versions available: Unicode for 2k/XP, All Win32 version, WinCE... I'm a daily SnapFiles (WebAttack) user since beginning, the editor review is fair, I'm cannot understand how I passed this masterpiece before. Highly recommended.
