Musikcube is pretty good... Pros: Customizable Has wide range of options Good tag editing and also good for multiple tag editing User friendly Has a good search Good mini player Good for making and editing playlist Watches drives and folders for new music and updates at startup Cons: Volume is terrible the worst I ever heard in a computer mp3/media player High memory usage lower than most mediaplayers though, but still sort of high. Crossfade, I have not found the option to change this yet Basically if the volume is normal this would be the player of my choice

If you are just looking to organize your music and have a basic player, then this is it. This is a good application for beginners. I'm glad to have found it because I am trying to set up novice user with a player who did not want all the bells and whistles that can get in the way and become confusing. The interface is clean. The features are intuitive and easy to understand. The sound is clear and consistent. The help files are online and define all the features. If you are a utilitarian this is the player/music organizer for you. If you have a need for flash, glitz, and every feature under the sun look elsewhere.
