Gamebooster is useful any time you are bumping up against you computers memory limit. It shuts down a lot of non-essential programs, to free memory. Then later, with one button click, it will restart them. I've been using a few times a day, for about a week, for PC performance testing. It not only shuts down things like my instant messenger, but also many less obvious programs, like automatic updaters. It is a lot easier to use, and much more effective, than trying to shut down these programs manually, which is what I did before.

I don't usually fall for these kind of apps, but my Football Manager started lagging a bit, so i searched the site for some kind of gaming booster and came across this nice little piece of freeware. It's very simple and it actually gives the gaming experience a boost to run a bit smoother :) Give it a try!
