Caution
This program screws with My Documents i.e. you CAN'T unhide it without going through a process the developer doesn't explain in their help section or web site. Believe me, before you hide something of value back it up. I deleted this program the hell off of my computer.

Serves my purposes
For a free program. this is top notch. Simple and nicely thought out useful features. Although the files can still be accessed though an alias even when hidden, it does the job for me. NOT QUITE, you want something more? Cough up your thirty bucks or more!

Greatly improved
My first review of this was for 1.2. At that time you could access the hidden directory via the command console. This is for 1.6 They have improved this greatly. While the GUI is still blah it now offers adequate protection to the average user.

I have no problem with it
I tested it, tried accessing the hidden folder many ways, including from a command line. Could not see the hidden folder. Anyway, this app will most likely be used by kids hiding porn from their parents. And most parents will not do an extensive search for hidden folders. All in all, it is fine for most needs of this type.

Not quite..
Initially I was excited to find freeware that could hide folders effectively. As I played with the program my enthusiasm faded when I discovered that I had an image viewer/organizer that not only saw the renamed folder as (chkdsk.100yy) but it allowed me to view all the files within. That aside, I liked the program and if that flaw can be corrected I could recommend it and bump up my ratings to very good. I was able to duplicate my little experiment repeatedly.

Simple but works
Don't know why this only gets 3 stars..worth more. Although very simple app it works just fine for me. Does what it says (hides folders) no more, but no less.
