Still great after all these years
It's lite and perfect for alerts on most emails ... with sound alerts or just visual. I use this with another POP email alert for my WAV Alerts for Gmail. Works like a Charm for my needs! I like the WAV for my specific Signal Alerts. IMO

High marks for ease of use and set up
If you want to check multiple e-mail accounts automatically, and need something very simple to set up, ePrompter is hard to beat. The set up is simple, very easy to understand and worked like a charm. A tiny icon in your system tray keeps you informed about the number of messages you have on each of your accounts without being annoying. You hear a gentle tone when you have new mail. I'd love it if the user could choose different sounds for each account. Also, as others have mentioned the interface could look a little fancier in this day of fancy-shmancy MS-Vista. That aside, I highly recommend this! EPrompter does it's job very well and you won't be wasting your time with confusing set ups.

fantastic and so simple
This is the MOST simplest and easiest program to use for checking your e-mail at any time without having to log onto the internet to do so. Just by clicking the icon it tells you exactly how many new e-mails that you have. I can't say enough for this program and I hope the developers keep up the great work they have done so far. Because this program is Fantastic ! I give it a 10 rating....

Excellent-5 stars hands down!!
EPrompter is my favorite e-mail checker having tried 5 or 6 others including Mailbox, AvirMail, PopTray, Mail Alert and PPMailcheck. The ability to view and delete is essential as most of us end up deleting more than we even read. This program even lets you send a quick reply without launching Outlook which in turn launches Word. ePrompter is a time saver and a resource saver as well.

Still lacking
It works fine, but is showing it's age now. It needs a) A modern interface, b) More User features i.e. abilty to use your own .wav file for notification.

Second best
Very good program for checking web based and pop3 e-mail accounts along with sending, forwarding and reply. Very extensive list of web based domains. However its cons are as follows: Slow while checking, program hard to terminate while in operation and most importantly, mail window cannot be enlarged.

Would i recommend eprompter? definetly
This is an astonishing, neat, speedy, simple and so helpful email checking program. Things have been "thought" to avoid redundancy, to get to the point - my email! - here and now. Just dealing with this software is cheerful (colors, as icons do, give a flavor to ordinary tasks!). I'm enthusiast, but it's worth it. Really.

Definitely 5 stars
I can't believe this program isn't rated 5 stars. Apparently it has to sing and dance to be rated 5 stars. Seriously, this program does everything it claims to do and does it well. The support forum is excellent. I've been using this program for a few years and would recommend anyone with a lot of email accounts to check it out. Price is excellent too.

One of the best program in internet
Nothing much needed to say or recommend about ePrompter anyway let me say little. I use more than one id with each email provider and it is only possible with ePrompter to check all them at once and reply so fast. It automatically checks at user defined time intervals and if there are no mails it tells in less than one minute for even more than 10 ids. And it has a common address book to use with all ids. The only drawback is it does not support attachments but who needs attachments for all regular mails. A Gem and Time saver program. Highly recommended. Should be rated 5 Stars.

Eprompter highly recommended
Have been using ePrompter for several years. Works like a charm. And when Yahoo or another webmail program tries to block it, the authors quickly find a solution.

Get that mail on your desktop!
This program lets you connect automatically to various email providers, such as Yahoo and Lycos, and download the unread mail in your inbox. The only hassle is the amount of time it takes to connect and get the mail. You could probably check all the mail accounts manually in the same time. However, if you are doing something else while this activity goes on in the background, give this program a shot.

The best utility I've found
I have been using ePrompter for almost 5 years. I've gotten several friend to use it too. I've installed it easily on Win98, WinME, Win2000 and WinXP. It has save me a lot of time since each member of my family has at least 2 accounts. So I use all 16. And the support is great. I've tried several others but considering the price (FREE) and what it can do this is by far the Best.

Time saver
It s simple and free. A glance at the screen saver tell where and how much email I have in Outlook and online mail accounts. It certainly saves going online to check. The simple utility to erase the mail at the server has also saved me Spam cluster headaches later on. I don t plan to delete it any time soon from XP.
