Most excellent
Mozilla Firefox version 0.9.3
Since most security firms agree that its UTTERLY foolish to use microsoft internet explorer droves of people are flocking to the safe harbor of firefox! Quick to load, uninfectable of spyware, block popups, optionally filter out inpade ads, and all for free. Unlike its "competition" the mozilla people regularly release updates and QUICKLY squash bugs.

If you don't have outlook
SpamPal version 1.50
Then spampal is for you. I'm sure it works fine with outlook, but for that I have disruptor. SpamPal is an excellent choice for Mozilla Thunderbird or any other IMAP/POP3 mail clients. Now with a freeware tool to autoconfigure your settings there's no reason not to try it. Free comes at the price of using a loop back filter and some manual settings changes for most email clients, but comes with a rich set of free plugins too!

Tweakers dream come true
Disruptor OL version 1.0.64.111
Puts to shame the junkmail "feature" of outlook 2003. While microsoft FINALLY added a feature to block loading of images from unknown senders disruptor ol has had this from day one. "Secure message" is one of my favorite features. Lock down messages tagged on spam from simply blocking images ratcheting all the way up to convert-html-to-text AND retain the formatting. My second favorite is the ability to chain filters: either simple keywords (which I rarely use) or Regular Expressions. If you like to tweak then this is for you
