I have used Auction Sentry for over three years. I love it mostly for its ease of use and reliability. In a nutshell, you can add an auction with a mouseclick, add notes to each item on the list, and are notified of any bid change instantly. I let Auction Sentry run in the background, and enter my high bid days before auction end, so I don't have to remember when it ends, or even be at home. I set my snipe time to 2 seconds before auction end, and that's exactly when my bid is placed (if you're on dial-up you should probably give it more time to go through). I have won many auctions using Auction Sentry, and I consider it a wise "investment". The program is updated constantly to keep up with eBay changes. Dan, the creator, will answer your questions immediately and in a friendly manner. You just can't go wrong with Auction Sentry.

Because I only maintain a regular checking account for my partner and myself, I used to use a simple text file to record expenses and make projections for the next month... mainly because the commercial applications are pretty intimidating. AceMoney Lite is extremely easy to use. Add your account, enter re-occuring expenses and deposits in the schedule, and log additional expenses when they occur. The greatest feature to me is that by entering re-occuring expenses and deposits you can see what your account will look like in the future (a week, a month, two months, etc. from now), and therefore know how much you will have left for extra spending. I also love the option of being able to categorize any item (Bills: Electricity, Automobile: Car Payment, etc.). I couldn't think of anything this program is lacking, it does exactly what I wanted it to do. Highly recommended!
