Doesn't burn first track properly
SilentNight Micro CD Burner version 4.1.1
This program can't properly write the first track on any CD I've tried to burn with it. When I play the freshly burnt CD in a normal CD player, it'll try to read track 1 and then spit it out. I can fast-forward to track 2 and it'll play fine from there, but I can't recommend SilentNight Micro CD Burner based on this fatal flaw.

Makes great ringtones
Audacity version 1.2.3
You can use this program to make ringtones for your cell phone (as long as your phone can support MP3 tones aka realtones). Just select the section of the song you want to use and convert it to a 32kbps MP3 file. Upload the file to your website and use your phone's browser to point to that URL; it should start downloading right away. You might even be able to email it to your phone.

A must-have
FastStone Image Viewer version 2.22
I have FastStone Image Viewer set as my default image viewing program. In that way it works just like Windows' default Image and Fax Viewer application, but FastStone is SO much more powerful. One of my favorite features about FastStone is its batch resizing/renaming capabilities. For the beginner, FastStone's explorer interface may be a little confusing at first but it's easy to get used to. FastStone allows basic photo editing like red-eye reduction and sepia. For advanced picture editing I switch from FastStone to PhotoFiltre (also available here at SnapFiles). This program really is a must-have for every digital photographer, blogger, and web designer.

It used to be great...
CDBurnerXP version 3.0.116
But I had to stop using it after it kept freezing up my system. I don't know why, but it just wouldn't work. Every time I selected what kind of disc I wanted to burn, it froze. Based on that fact, I can't fully recommend this product. When it did work, however, it was great. The interface was clean and fairly intuitive, and it was pretty easy to use.

I can't believe i hadn't heard...
PhotoFiltre version 6.1.5
About PhotoFiltre until recently, but I'm SO glad I downloaded this program and gave it a shot. PhotoFiltre is simply awesome. I've been looking for a program this feature-rich and easy to use for a long time. PhotoFiltre is super powerful with a great layout. I would recommend PhotoFiltre over the [...] any day. Plus, it doesn't drain your system like [...] does. :)

The best browser
Mozilla Firefox version 1.07
Firefox is, by far, the best browser out there. With its tabbed browsing, powerful user-created extensions and strong support community, Firefox has taken the web by storm for the last two years and is only gaining momentum. My favorite extensions include Tab Mix Plus, Session Saver, and Mouse Gestures. The fact that you're reading this review says that you're looking for an alternative browser, so make the switch today. What do you have to lose? It's free!
