EditPad Lite version 5.4.6
For the last couple of years I've use EditPad Light exclusively for all my HTML and scripting. Although I continue to check-out other editors when I find something highly rated, nothing else offers the useful combination of features with a simple, well-designed interface. Goodgood.

I am not patient!
Mozilla Firefox version 1.0
I don't fool with beta products and certainly not for something as important as my browser. Firefox however downloaded and installed flawlessly on my XP system. I'm hooked on the tabbed browsing as well as the rss links (excellent idea). The interface is pleasantly uncluttered and it was easy to pare it down even further to the spare double toolbar I prefer. That is not to say Firefox is plain-jane or ugly, the themes available for download installed themselves smoothly, though I do wish the download page had previews of all the themes. The extensions are also a good way to make Firefox my personal browser without the bloat and clutter that made Netscape a pain to use. There has thus far been no problems with stability and the extra security inherent in simply Not being IE is important to me as well. Bottom line: this is not some clunky off-brand software and as an intelligent non-geek I really prefer this browser far above any other product I've seen, bar none.
