CPad allows you to highlight more elements of code than just about any other. It's easy to use, colorful, and customizable. It's also free. If you just use just one code editor this should be it.

Outstanding Program !!! Free too. This is a very simple tool that doesn't install anything to the registry. It allows you to copy your registry, switch to the copy and install software in a temporary registry. If the software is ok you can keep the registry. If it messes up your computer you can switch back to the original. An absolute must for those who install freeware. Read the instructions CAREFULLY, twice!!

This excellent utility by Sysinternals shows most if not all startup items. Its free too! This little utility will show you startup items that you might not know about. Every program Sysinternals has is excellent. Lot of free stuff.
