I needed a tool to convert a PDF product catalog into an Excel file. PDF2XL isn't just a brilliant tool for conversion to Excel, but it also allows for conversion to OpenDocument Spreadsheet, CSV, Word and Powerpoint (though not so elegantly for Word and Powerpoint as the 'spreadsheet' formats). It was so easy to get started converting and now that I have purchased the full version I won't be limited to converting only 10 pages at a time. I will definitely have to upgrade to the OCR version that enables the conversion to Excel of PDF files that were created from scanning printed pages. I highly recommend this simple yet powerful tool that has already saved me so much valuable time and is great value for money.

Absolutely brilliant

I needed a tool for data cleansing a .csv file in order to create a database table. The .csv was way too big for MS Excel to cope with. I stumbled across this little gem and won't look for anything else now. It has all sorts of cool functions - column delete/add; record add/delete; column split/join; search and replace; file split/append... The list goes on. Very highly recommended!!
