Best free firewall around at the moment

This is a 1st class free firewall. At one time there was another I would have rated higher, but that has gone downhill, so if you want safety on line for free, this is the best! Only item I have marked "Very Good" rather than "Excellent" (Which I have put on all the rest) is "Ease of use", as you do need to get used to it. But it is well worth the effort.

Does what it should but vastly annoying very slow updates. Also a pain that it stops scanning if you are not at the computer to tell it what to do. It would be far better to finish the scan first. I could not see a way to set up auto updates or scans. Unless I missed something this is another area for improvement.

Plus side, Fast. Minus side, Kept giving false positives. In one month of use never updated once. I checked for updates each day.

This program could be easier to use. But once you have it set up how you want it it is a good program. Read the instructions carefully. (Boring, I know!) But if you want your PC keep safe from other fingers on the keyboard, it is the best free program that I have found for that purpose.

This replacement for Cyberhawk work well and does what it claims. I have had no problem with it. It has helped keep my PC safe and works quietly unless it needs to warn about an activity. Highly recommended.
