I'm surprised that this neat little tool has not received the attention it deserves. It's super!

From their website: "Important Notice: Effective November 30th, 2005 all Sygate personal firewall products will be discontinued. This does not affect Sygate's Enterprise firewall and endpoint compliance products, which will still be updated and supported." I rated Sygate as excellent but I had to say "no" on my recommendation. (Which will automatically change to undecided, I've been told.) Mine is still working, but apparently no more updates. I'm not about to buy anything Norton, so I'm off to search for something else.

This little proggy is great. Within days of yahoo changing their system and getting blocked, the author had a patch and then new version. Watch his website as he develops this further. The program has a check for latest version also. I don t use yahoo/hotmail and juno a lot anymore, so this program is perfect just for checking on them now and then, but in the future real users of these POP3 s will get a lot more functions.

I've used this program for some time and it is very good. If you have Windows Me though, remember to put your System Restore folders in the excluded list or you will loose your restore check points. It only happened to me once so I can't say if it was a fluke on my end, but since then I exclude System Restore and everything stays on just fine.
