Free is better, but ZoneAlarm is also easy. Zonealarm is good to use if you don't know much about firewalls. I use 4.5.594.000 free version and it never crash my PC (win2000 + service pack 4)

If you have many System Tray icons, Tray Pilot Lite help you. I have Win2000 + service pack 4 and it doesn't crash my PC.

Popcorn release 1.20 was freeware and I used it. But now isn't free... bye bye popcorn! I will change Popcorn with another easy,light and free POP3/SMTP e-mail client.

If you want view your saved texts (or images) you must use a toolbar in internet explorer... I don't like it. I shall prefer an indipendent organizer system from Internet Explorer. This is my opinion.

Disk cleaner cleans all in your pc. you can download from author's website many plugins and so disk cleaner will have new options! "easy" and with a lot of "easy" options. It doesn't need of "setup installer": it is a file .exe! very good.

I use FrontPage for my website. FrontPage is easy (like Microsoft Word) but it doesn't build a clean html code. "HTML Compress" cleans html code and it will be very light.

Pdf995 is shareware and it opens a weblink (pop-up)each time that you use it. It is a virtual driver - "CutePDF Writer" is freeware and it is a virtual driver. It doesn't open any weblink (pop-up)!! It needs of Ghostscript freeware "PS2PDF converter" (you can download it from CutePDF Writer' s website) The winner is..."CutePDF Writer"

I use this software and it deletes my spam email in 95%! you can put also plugin: for example there is a very important plugin (called POP3Notifier) because it frequently checks your e-mail accounts for new messages and shows a small notification on your screen if there are new mails
