Somehow I stumbled upon FilZip--what a great piece of software. I don't use WinZip and WinRar anymore because FilZip handles .zip, .rar, and every other file I've tried. It's fast! I love the right-click feature because in a few click I can extract all files to the desktop. I set 'do not overwrite existing files' and 'use folder names' as my default so every time I need to open something it works the way I want it, and with very little input from me.

I am running out of room on my drive so I needed a program to help me identify my larger files. After downloading I ran windirstat.exe (instead of setup, I was hoping it could run w/out being installed), and it worked. You pick which drive(s) to examine and then these pacmen go back and forth which was a nice change from the status bars. Drives with bigger files go quicker. Once loaded up I had a lot of fun mousing over different files to see their location. I found several big files that I didn't know I had. This was a really cool idea (color graphic blocks) and very well done.. try it! You don't even have to install it and it's a very small freeware download.
