Recovered, but incomplete
PC Inspector File Recovery version 4.0
It recovered my 2.26GB folder (shift-deleted) fine, but turned out some files inside are corrupted and cannot be played (RMVB). Oh well, I can live with it, but surprised that it recovered incompletely. But for a freeware, I think it's amazing and I believe it can recover lots of stuff

Best notes software ever!!
Atnotes version 9.41
I have tried MANY notes software, and fell in love with AtNotes since version 8. It's green software (no installation), easy to backup/move, upgrade by replacing the files, pretty, etc... What's not to like? Only side effect is that your desktop can be filled with too many, if you are too multi-tasking. Absolutely LOVE it the most~

Free and handy
Snippet version 2.0
How can I complain? Snippet is like a PDA on a computer, which I can access much faster at 1 click and organize quickly. I am not sure why rating is so low, but I sincerely love it and have it on every computer I use (No installation required either). For those who need to write down quick notes near computer, this is your replacement. For calendar-related I use other Calendar software though.
