Downloaded and used this ap based on Gizmo's newsletter, where it was rated nicely. Had been having problems with slow response on my laptop, even though I've been running lots of other spyware apps etc. Found lots of problem areas that were fixed, system is now up and running like it's new again. There is a paid-for version that has more options, but this one works for me. Also using the IoBit smart defrag, works nicely also.

Crippleware?

Everything is just great until one tries to run the diagnostics. "For registered users only." Now the registration thing is a minor issue, but if you choose not to register, obviously some of the options are not operable. Guess like one other reviewer mentioned, you could use a throw-away email in the registration. Seems to me this meets the definition of crippleware since it requires additional effort to get full use.

I've been using Hidden Menu for several years now. I haven't found a similar application that works nearly as well. Simple to install, (mine is set for left margin pop-up) drag your apps to the bar, and there they are! Haven't seen an update for some time, but I don't see the need.
