I used this not too long ago, about 15 min ago on a drive that was a storage drive only, but had, ME, XPpro and Ubuntu on it prior. Then, I reinstalled an OS to it, deleted it, now put back to storage. I didn't think PCIFR would find anything yet, IT DID. Very surprised, very shocked, very happy. Tried many others, blah. Use this one, it's the best free file recover I have used.

Well, I was looking for an IRC for myself, never really used one. Tried many that others suggested, nothing, didn't work, hard to adjust to. HydraIRC was simple, had it working in no time! Thank you HydraIRC, you saved me a lot of grief :-)

After quite some time using MP, it's only better than before. I can still say nothing bad about it, I like it more than ever and some old reviews will hopefully be changed. The ease of use I gave very good but for those who can't catch on a quick as others or are new to this or simply don't have patience won't find it so easy. It really depends on the type of person. Personally, I could have given it an excellent but it's not just my use I rated it for. This is still just an awesome editoretc..and think the creators deserve an applause. As well, the other negative reviews from long past were incorrect alse statements and should be changed as they STILL don't apply. Just because you don't like something, please, don't lie about it either, tell the negatives but don't lie, that is just bad practice. Still Purveying!

This is a great program for older OS icons, and can't beat the price. However, it simply doesn't deliver what an icon maker should but considering the price yet again, this may be why. I use Gimp to make my icons and they look as good or better than Windows icons in some cases, depending how well I do. Gimp will turn into ICO and supports many formats, resizing, etc..get used to that and no need to use any icon maker.

Well, the only thing good is "it's free". But free isn't always a bargain. It installed fine, easy to use, but did nearly nothing to block unwanted material. It blocked obvious words, like PORN, etc...how many ways around the F word are there? Many. However , it didn't take any effort to get around it. A few simple words like NUDE can bring up a whole barrel of apples. As someone who is more on the technical edge of computers, in my honest opinion, without an ability to learn to block words that a parent may type manually, or manually block sites, this software is far too useless. I honestly don't say that just to be cruel, just honest. Go to Google images, and viola! anything will show and it blocked nothing in that case, not even words. I tested this completely before making a judgment. I appreciate FREE but that's about all.
