Too slow to "learn"? does it "learn
Spamihilator version 0.9.9.9
After reading the reviews here I decided to switch from another freeware package, [..] to this one, basically because SpamPal sends all emails thru (including marked spam messages) to the client whereas Spamihilator doesn't. I have now been using Spamihilator for about a month and have been 'teaching' it how to identify certain spam/non-spam messages. A month down the line and it is still incorrectly identifying some messages as spam when they are not, and vice versa. I seem to spend too much time analyzing and correcting what Spamihilator is doing as it's still marking around 10% of my emails incorrectly - mainly identifying regular 'good' messages as spam which after month of 'teaching', it really shouldn't be. Sorry, but Spamihilator has been uninstalled and [..] is back in business.

Best of the freeware bunch
FilZip version 3.01
Have tried a number of the freeware offerings, but have found FilZip to be the best. Supports many archive formats (yet to come across one it doesn't support), has plenty of features and is fully functional with a nice clean intuitive interface.

As a user of the bat! for 4 years...
The Bat! version 2.12
...need I say more. The product has masses of features, is constantly evolving, is excellent if you have multiple email accounts and/or share a PC with your family at home. Also the guys at Ritlabs are really switched on and are responsive to resolving bugs and incorporating enhancements. I think it's well worth the money for this sort of product and service.

Does exactly what it says on the box...
Rename Master version 2.3.8
Use this all the time for renaming files downloaded off a digital camera... Many options for inserting/replacing parts of file names with text or variables. Preview/undo and name collision detection prevent disasters from careless keying.
