A good add-on for outlook express
Spell Checker For OE
This is an American product, but once it's learned the British way to spell some words, it works perfectly. It seems M$ aren't going to fix the issue of the French only spell checker after installing Office 2007 and are actually recommending that you install this product. Thanks Bill!

Easy to set up and free
Comodo Internet Security
Installation was easy, I disabled the Windows firewall FIRST. I also chose not to install the Anti-Virus, or the toolbar, just the standard firewall. Then after a reboot I set up the usual Allow/Deny permissions as they popped up on the screen (Firefox, Etc.) and that was it. Simple.

Very good product
CCleaner
I've set mine to run on boot up, then close afterwards. So the process is fully automated. I'm not so sure I'd use the registry clean option and I haven't yet.

Finally found a reason to switch...
Mozilla Firefox
I've been a long time user of Internet Explorer. The reason I've never switched to Firefox was I use 'RoboForm' to remember all my logins and passwords, which works well with Internet Explorer. But that all changed when I discovered an extension that enabled RoboForm to work with Firefox also. Then I went on to discover an extention called 'InFormEnter' and that sealed the deal for me! Everybody has their own reasons for switching, yours may be different from mine. But I hope this helps you make the decision to switch. You won't regret it.

Easy does it
Avira AntiVir Personal
I don't really know which free anti virus is the best and I don't care anymore. I've used AVG, Avast and Avira and they're all good. I'm sticking with the simple, easy to use, easy to configure, Avira because I don't need a freaking degree in AstroPhysics to use it.

Excellent program
Picasa
I can't understand why some reviewers have rated this software a 1? It's intuitive, easy to use, easy on the eye and free. Well for those folks unhappy with it, there is an alternative...go out and buy something else.

Adobe is history!
Foxit PDF Reader
Removed Adobe from my laptop today (70MB), and replaced it with this program. Can somebody please explain to me how a 4MB program does the same thing as a 70MB program? Hmmm, strange...?

Fantastic!
AbiWord
I have uninstalled MS Word (154MB) and installed Abiword (only 22Mb). It starts quicker, is easier to use (and easier on the eye) and I highly recommend it!
