Kudos from a pro writer
WordWeb version 4.5a
I am a professional wordsmith. This little application is so cool and easy to use, my 14 various dictionaries have begun to collect dust. It isn't the only look-up tool I use, but it's the one I use most often.

A real pleasure to use
Skype version 3.5.0.214
I call clients in Europe and all over North and South America often. Skype has almost completely replaced landline usage on my end. I have not experienced any quality degradation or connection issues after a few years of use. My only suggestion is to allow the use of more than one Skype account on a single computer without having to switch users. It would be handy to have both work Skype and home Skype available on my main user account for either place (hint to 3rd party developers ;-).

A real workhorse for day-to-day html
PSPad Editor version 4.5.2 (2240)
It's hard to beat PSPad for day-to-day coding chores in HTML. I use this application often when I don't want to be immersed in the complexity of Dreamweaver or some other full-blown editing environment. My only wish is that the menu system be a little more intuitive. Otherwise, wonderful program!

Great ftp application
FileZilla version 2.2.31
Works the way it's supposed to, without errors and in an uncomplicated way. FileZilla is nearly as awesome as the one or two top-rated commercial apps out, and best of all it's free!

Saves tons of hassle and time
Clippy version 1.20.20616
Clippy is my weapon of choice to strip unwanted content from email, data fields, word docs, and other text. Saves me tons of time in routine copy-and-paste and formatting chores. Highly recommended!

Great at first, then annoying
PhraseExpress Autotext version 4.1.13
This was wonderful at first, then extremely annoying when the nag screens kept telling me that the program had determined 'commercial use'. Huh? Just normal macro insertions once or twice a day in Word documents. The developer needs to lighten up on this a bit. Also, formatting usually goes to Times New Roman when used in Outlook. Too bad. Could have been a great help.
