I was in despair with how to fix a problem: my web homepage and search engine pages were constantly being hijacked, I couldn't detect the spyware responsible and it was driving me insane!! I'm a novice when it comes to these things, but I hunted around for help on the internet. Help came from CWShredder. This little utility was created especially to get rid of the CoolWebSearch hijacker in all its variants. CWShredder easily cleaned my computer. NO MORE HIJACKS! I'm so relieved. The website for CWShredder says that it is constantly being updated to deal with the latest variations of CWS.

I'm impressed with how easy it is to use Spy Sweeper. The 'Help' section is informative without being too long or confusing. The program has some tools which have helped me while websurfing: for example, shields that alert you when your internet settings are being altered without your consent (for example: when your homepage is being hijacked). The program picked up nearly every bit of malware on my computer. It did not pick up a recent version of CoolWebSearch - I had to use CWShredder for that.
