Good popup blocker

You want even know it s running. It blocks a good amount of popups. I don t like the fact that it has to check for an update automatically once, before the user is given the option to disable automatic update checks. You can disable it, though, through the registry, which I did.

Zonealarm is good to use if you don t know much about firewalls. It takes up alot of time to load up when your computer starts up. I have had very few problems with it. It s good for people who don t want to go too deep into configuring a firewall.

I liked TuneUp Utilities alot. The interface is very good. It s very user friendly. The main feature I like is the recommendations it makes to increase performance after it scans your computer. The problem is that I could get the other features for free, like the disk cleaner for example and the system control which allows you to tweak your computer. I see no reason to buy it, but you should take advantage of the trial time.

Why wouldn someone not want this? It doesnt run in the background. You just set it and forget it. It blocks spyware from ever coming on to your computer. I have never had any problems with it.

Ad-aware is excellent at detecting and removing spyware. It is updated often. I have had no problems with it all. It is a perfect compliment to Spybot.
