Wow, simply wow
StrokeIt version 9.2a
Loads of pre-configured gestures. Easy to use. Excellent time saver.

Greatly improved
Free Hide Folder version 1.5
My first review of this was for 1.2. At that time you could access the hidden directory via the command console. This is for 1.6 They have improved this greatly. While the GUI is still blah it now offers adequate protection to the average user.

A must have for everyone
FileHamster Lite version 1.2.1.10
Have been using this for the last week. While the less than avid computer user may find it a little overwhelming. It is worth the time to learn. I've already made use of it as the result of an application crash. What a relief recovering a five minute old version instead of loosing three hours of work.

One of the best freeware icon editors
IcoFX version 1.5
Definitely is one of the top three freeware icon editors. On par with Snico editor, etc. Compiles icons that look very good on my XP system and no visible difference between those created in the GIMP. While I understand what comicfan is saying in their review. Really from that perspective there isn't a freeware or payware icon editor that does the same as a full blown graphics program.

Works well
Filseclab Personal Firewall version 2.5
Have been using as my secondary firewall in conjunction with Jetico. This is a program that requires the user to have interaction. For myself this is one of the advantages to it. Despite what advertising/others say nothing that requires little if any interaction is necessarily superior. I've been hacked and had ZoneAlarm beaten.

Needs to support Firefox and Opera
Local Website Archive Lite version 1.24
Contrary to other reviews. Unfortunately it only supports IE/IE based browsers. Even then it is somewhat slower than comparable counterparts such as NetSnippets and Evernote and of course ContentSaver(not free). That said I liked it. Does what it says and is somewhat easy to navigate based on the standard Tree view style.

Excellent program
AxCrypt version 1.5.4.2
If you are looking for an easy and integrated encryption program then I say look no further! As far as the member who mentioned no password to protect the program. I would say that begins with basically setting up user settings on XP.

Great tool
Mmm Free version 2.02
This is a great tool that is very easy to use. Had downloaded an older version and it seemed to be a memory hog. Lo and behold they have corrected that issue SUBSTANTIALLY. If you are a power user with lots of extensions on your context menus you won't be disappointed.

Nice browser. worth a try.
Mozilla Firefox version 1.04
More User Friendly than Mozilla. Better Features & customization than IE. Slow compared to Opera but, can be tweaked thanks to Firetune...

Xp sp2 users use caution.
Folder View version 2.1
Had no problems on Older Systems running ME and Windows 98. Yet on XP SP2 it consistently causes crashes. Freezes up in Explorer when I try to right click on an item. Basically it doesn't play nice with other Extensions. However, that being said I still like the features and functionality when it does work.

Excellent. does what it says.
K9 version 1.28
Being relegated back to my old P166 I've had the painstaking process of updating security features. Although not as customizable as Spamhilator this program works very well and is roughly a tenth of the size. Also having only 32MB RAM I needed a program that wasn't a memory hog. This is definitely it. Additionally it configured itself perfectly with Outlook Express 6.0; so, setup was a breeze.

Excellent! does just what it is intended to
DzSoft Favorites Search version 2.0
Having been relegated back to using my old P166 I ruled out Copernic and Google Desktop Search. This little program integrates nicely with IE and is many times quicker than the traditional way of searching your Favorites. Definitely will be one of my little addictive tools. Well Done.
